Reading Challenge

I found this book challenge on a Facebook page and challenged myself and my mom to complete it this year. I will post about each book as it is read, be it a wonderful experience or a book I wouldn't recommend.
I am starting off with "a book by a favorite author" :) book review to follow!

Getting back into blogging

This is one of the great moments in our family's life.... Alex learned to eat! Today, I had a visit from my very good friend Kati and her mother Cheryl to learn how to do special things with our blogs. We learned many things that can be done to enhance a post and the blog itself.I am so inspired now to do more with my blog, I just wish I had a more reliable laptop so that I could use it daily. That is one of the things I have on my dream list, along with a nice digital camera to help me capture and document all of the great things in my family's life.

My Goal

My name is Britni and I have a beautiful three month old little boy. It is the goal of my husband and I to train our children to love the Lord and follow His will for their lives, and to fully support them in doing so. Let me give you a little bit of my background. Many people may think a 21 year old with only one small baby wouldn't know a whole lot about raising children, but I have been around children my whole life. My parents adopted my little sister as a newborn when I was fourteen years old and I had the joy of watching her grow up and learn things through homeschooling just as I did. Also from the same age I have been a teacher of ballet, tap, and jazz to children from the ages of three through nine. {31 Days of Worship- Day 8} The Least I can Do

I usually don't buy every song that I like, mainly because I don't have the unlimited funds to stock up on music as much as I would like. But when I heard this song on the radio a few times I had to get it. It truly brings out the true meaning of worship. We are given so much and there is no possible way that we could repay Him for all He has done. He deserves everything we could possibly give Him and the least we could do truly is falling on our knees to worship Him.
