Reading Challenge

I found this book challenge on a Facebook page and challenged myself and my mom to complete it this year. I will post about each book as it is read, be it a wonderful experience or a book I wouldn't recommend.
I am starting off with "a book by a favorite author" :) book review to follow!

I usually don't buy every song that I like, mainly because I don't have the unlimited funds to stock up on music as much as I would like. But when I heard this song on the radio a few times I had to get it. It truly brings out the true meaning of worship. Cherish

A single word can say so much. I have been thinking of a word lately. Cherish . When glancing through the definition these defining words stood out: protect, care for, love, hold, keep, dear. I had the great pleasure of attending my cousin's wedding yesterday, and the word Cherish became quite vivid to me. I looked at my little loves and saw their wedding days, far away and yet so very close. While my cousin was dancing with my aunt I found myself swaying with my little boy and holding him ever so close, wishing the moment would live forever. I looked over at my husband holding our little girl with the same look in his eyes. I realized that until then I had never truly known the meaning of the word cherish . There never has been nor will be a day when we can say "I've got this, I don't need God's help today". And if we have, we are certainly lying to ourselves. He is our everything.
