Reading Challenge

I found this book challenge on a Facebook page and challenged myself and my mom to complete it this year. I will post about each book as it is read, be it a wonderful experience or a book I wouldn't recommend.
I am starting off with "a book by a favorite author" :) book review to follow!

It is so easy to worship the Lord when everything seems perfect. But what about when everything is falling apart? What about when we've lost all hope? How are we supposed to give God praise when we can't find anything to sing about? At times like this I have a few songs that help me cry out to Him in worship, even when it hurts the most. The way of this world is to crumble when we are faced with something difficult. When things are impossible to handle most people give up. What makes us different from everyone else is that when we are at our lowest we give God even more praise. It helps us realize that we are not alone, that someone is carrying us through our darkest times. There never has been nor will be a day when we can say "I've got this, I don't need God's help today". And if we have, we are certainly lying to ourselves. He is our everything.
